This Privacy Policy explains how the Heart of Living Yoga mobile app ("the app", "we", "us") handles your information. The app is provided by Arcturus Digital Consulting Ltd on behalf of Heart of Living Yoga (registered charity no. 1169252).
Heart of Living Yoga is currently in development. This policy describes how the app is designed to handle data at release. If practices change before or after launch, this page will be updated with a new effective date.
Heart of Living Yoga is a heart-centred practice app offering guided practices, live daily meditations, yoga class videos, a music library, information about retreats and events, and ways to support the charity.
If you create an account or sign in, we collect the details needed to authenticate you — typically your email address and a display name. Authentication is handled by Google Firebase. We do not see or store your password.
To provide core features, the app may record which practices, classes, or tracks you have opened or marked as favourites, and your session preferences, so your library reflects your use. This is limited to what the app needs to function.
If you choose a deluxe supporter option or make a donation, the payment is processed by the relevant app store (Apple App Store or Google Play) or a payment provider. We do not receive or store your full card details. We may receive confirmation that a purchase or supporter status is active.
We may collect basic technical information such as app version, device type, and operating system to keep the app working and to diagnose problems. Live meditations and video/music content may be delivered through third-party services (for example a streaming or video provider), which receive the technical information necessary to deliver that content.
The app does not sell your personal information, and does not use it for third-party advertising.

We keep account and usage information for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we remove or anonymise the associated personal data as described below, except where we are required to keep limited records (for example, transaction records for financial or legal compliance).
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, export, or delete your personal data, and to object to or restrict certain processing. You can exercise these rights using the contact details below.
You can request deletion of your Heart of Living Yoga account and associated personal data at any time.
In the app
Once released, open Settings and choose Delete account. This removes your account and associated personal data.

to your account with the subject line Delete my Heart of Living Yoga data. We
will verify your request and delete your data.
We aim to complete verified deletion requests within 30 days. Some limited information may be retained where required by law (for example, records of financial transactions), and anonymised or aggregated data that cannot identify you may be retained.
The app is intended for a general adult audience. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected here with a new effective date.
