1. About Sidestand
Sidestand is a motorcycle maintenance-tracking and ride-logging app operated by Arcturus Digital Consulting (UK). By using the app you agree to these terms.
2. Free and Premium
The free tier includes one bike and your current-year ride log. Premium — available as a monthly or annual auto-renewing subscription purchased through the App Store or Google Play — unlocks the service-history export, unlimited history, and the documents wallet. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled in your store account settings at least 24 hours before the end of the current period; payment is charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account.
3. Maintenance guidance — important
Sidestand's service intervals and reminders are organisational tools, not mechanical advice. Default intervals are general starting points; they are not a substitute for your motorcycle manufacturer's service schedule, a qualified mechanic, or your own judgement. You remain solely responsible for the maintenance, roadworthiness, and safe operation of your vehicle.
4. Account and access
You sign in with Google, Apple, or Microsoft and are responsible for the security of that account. You may delete your data or your entire account at any time from Settings, or as described on the deletion page.
5. Your content
Records, photos, and documents you add remain yours. You grant us only the licence needed to store and display them back to you. Do not upload content that is unlawful or that you have no right to hold.
6. Intellectual property
The app, its design, and its branding belong to Arcturus Digital Consulting. These terms grant you a personal, non-transferable licence to use the app; they transfer no ownership.
7. Availability and updates
We aim for reliability but the app is provided "as is", without warranty of uninterrupted availability. Features may change as the product develops; material changes to paid features will be communicated.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss arising from reliance on maintenance reminders (see section 3), vehicle condition, or events on the road. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales.
